Pros: gorgeous huts, wonderful friendly staff, great restaurant, free pool table, cheap beer, lovely view from top of hill, cheap motorbike hire. Cons: room didnt get cleaned every day even when we gave key (only cleaned 1 time in 4 night stay) mosquito net not big enough for bed so our feet got bitten, bit of a walk from beach down a busy road with no pavement. Overall we enjoyed our stay, lots of development going on so may be different soon for other guests.
Probably a little overpaid on the average of Thailand standards, but it's in line with all the island trend. The bungalow we rented was nice even if walls were very thin. Not extra clean, but OK. Position is fine,just 10mins walking from the nearest beach,just keep in mind that can be super hot and you need to walk under the sun. Motorbike rental service is provided anyway. Nice beaches nearby.
If you're coming to Lanta and you want a wholesome, inspiring, relaxing place to stay then this is it! This is a beautiful family run place with a very special feel to it. The family are so very accommodating and are special people in themselves. We made good friends with them and they made our stay so much more than we ever could have hoped. There is free coffee/tea/juice each morning and often fresh fruit is also provided. The rooms range from big and air conditioned to quaint with a fan. All are immaculate. New and well kept. Do not miss this very very special place.

Despite raining and dissapointing weather, our stay on Koh Lanta was perfect thanks to atmosphere and people from Cottage Hill @Lanta. Tasty food, room cleaner than in 5 star hotel, free pool table, motorbikes for reasonable price and mostly friendly and really nice people in staff :) Thanks!

Brand new place. Everything is new and shiny. The down side is that not all parts of the place are yet ready. That should be fixed in the near future. Really nice and helpful owner. My girlfriend got a small vound just before we arrived so they brought us bandages etc without asking.

El sitio está muy limpio y todo en muy buenas condiciones, los trabajadores son encantadores. Hay un restaurante con muy buenos precios y la comida riquísima. Tienen servicio de lavandería y alquiler de motos además te organizan transportes. Estuvimos muy agusto. Aunque los precios en Tailandia en los últimos años han aumentado muchísimo, considero que estando en una habitación con ventilador el precio es alto.
Es un lugar ideal si alquilas una moto, cosa que puedes hacer en el mismo alojamiento. El desayuno es muy bueno y el personal súper acogedor. Y el precio excelente. En comparación con otras opciones es fantástico.
Aunque le quedan pequeños detalles por construir, los bungalows estan perfectamente equipados: agua caliente, frigorífico... El personal muy atento desde el primer dia, los traslados al Puerto ida y venida incluidos. Especialmente Ice, la chica que habla mejor ingles del personal, cualquier duda preguntar a ella. Al ser una isla que esta creciendo a nivel turístico, es recomendable usar motocicletas ya que no hay aceras y hay que caminar por la carretera. Las playas aunque muy largas y cercanas al resort, no son las más limpias y agradables, agua turbia verde azulada. Si este resort tuviera piscina sería mejor para poder relajarse después de un dia largo de excursión. Recomendable para personas que sepan que van a moverse por toda la isla y quieran un lugar agradable para descansar al final del dia.

Bien si vous louez un scooter , car si ces petits bungalow avec petite terrasse sont agréables . La ville, Resto tuk tuk ne sont pas proches. Plage ok . Personnel disponible. Point négatif pas d isolation phonique entre les bungalows...
Hébergement sympa géré par une famille. Rien de spécial, c'est plutôt minimaliste mais correct. Le service de lessive a cassé un habit neuf et laissé des tâches suite un autre sans le signaler.
Emplacement à l'écart du bruit et proche des commodités. Personnel sympathique. Chambre et lieu propre. Bon restaurant
Le personnel super gentil, l'ambiance est mignonne mais le lit était incorfotable. Location de scooter à l'hôtel donc ça c'est cool pour se déplacer. Plage magnifique et tranquille à moins de 10min.
Après un séjour sur Koh Jum nous avons débarqué à Lanta ce n'est pas du tout la même ambiance. Nous avons été super bien accueillis. Cabane triple en bambou spacieuse et très propre. l'endroit est également très soigné. Restauration possible sur place même tard la nuit. Billard et jeux en bois pour les enfants nous n'avons rien de négatif à dire. Location de scoot sur place 200b/j indispensable En effet le seul point négatif est l'emplacement assez loin de la plage et du centre mais il a le mérite d'être au calme.
Un personnel absolument adorable et souriant, Des bungalows propres et au calme, rien de mieux pour se relaxer. La plage ne se trouve pas loin, repas disponible au resort, ainsi que massage, excursions.... Très bon séjour la bas, nous recommandons !!!

Cottage Hill is a super chill, cute and cozy place to spend your days on Koh Lanta near the beach. Everybody was super friendly and caring with and for us. We have booked a scooter directly there. The bed was probably one of the best I have had in Thailand so far and you can sleep great since it's a quiet place.
Alles war super! Die Zimmer sind relativ neu, sauber und gemütlich. Die Lage fand ich richtig toll, am Berg und dadurch sehr ruhig, aber nicht weit weg von Klong Khong. Und auch die Besitzer und die Managerin(?) waren klasse! Sie sprach sehr gutes Englisch und alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte meine Reisedaten etwas durcheinander gebracht und es war überhaupt kein Problem, meine gebuchten Übernachtungen um einen Tag nach hinten zu schieben. Richtig toll! Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

ビーチ沿いのバンガローハウスは一通り回ったので、今度はジャングルの中のバンガローハウスに泊まりたい！と思い、ここを予約しました。ジャングルの中！というよりは、丘の上！という感じですね。でもオレンジのオオトカゲなんかがバルコニーの前を通ったりして、トロピカルな感じは出てましたよ。 「ここが出来て4年になるけれど、日本人の客は君が初めてだ」と言われました。わーい第一号だ。 立地としてはスクーター必須です。歩くとビーチまで15分、コンビニまで20分かかります。坂でコケないように気を付けましょう。

民宿老板人特别好，很热情，包括所有员工。但是民宿位置太边远了，吃玩都不方便，最近的路边摊和海滩我们拖着三岁的孩子要走近二十分钟，气温很高，实在辛苦。竹楼很有特色，但是又闷又热，蚊子巨多，蚊帐又小完全遮不了，只能喂蚊子了。也算是一种人生体验吧。毕竟睡酒店不是旅行的全部。

Tento hotel se nachází na úplně klidném místě, takže spalo se úplně skvěle. U snídaní je na výběr ze tří různých, ale vždycky nám stačilo. Na hotelu si můžete půjčit skůtr od 250 BTH / den. Paní recepční je neskutečně energický člověk, který by pro Vás udělal první i poslední. Domluvení taxíků nebo jakýchkoliv výletů vyšlo nejlépe přes slečnu na recepci. Mají zde i pokoje pouze s větrákem, tak si když tak dávejte pozor, co objednáváte. Jinak tady bych se klidně ubytoval i příště.
